Board of Directors
PURPOSE OF THE BOARD
Williamsburg Campus Child Care’s Board of Directors is responsible for the employment of the executive director who manages the day-to-day affairs of the Center, setting and collecting tuition and other payments, creating and implementing policies related to the wait list, parent participation and other activities.
BOARD MEMBERS & MEETINGS
The Board of Directors is a group of up to 8 members, comprised of parent volunteers, community volunteers, and William & Mary university representatives. Members are installed each year at the Annual Meeting, typically held in September.
Board meetings are held quarterly and are open to all parents.

COMMITTEES
In addition to the Board, committees assist in working towards specific goals for the Center. These committees can be chaired by Board members or parent volunteers, and some committees welcome teacher volunteers.
WCCC Current Committees:
Advancement - plans and organizes the Center's fundraising events.
Finance - reviews the Center's quarterly financial reports and makes recommendations regarding the annual budget.
Governance - oversees the annual evaluation process for the Executive Director, as required by the Board's bylaws, and makes recommendations on proposed policy changes.
Communications - oversees projects related to Center communications.
